Copper is widely
used in electronic components due to its high electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as its ease of plating and processing. However, copper readily oxidizes when heated in oxygen-containing environments. The resulting copper oxide layer increases electrical resistance, leading to contact failures and signal loss.
